ENCAPSULATED RETINOL

Acts as a carrier system that releases and activates the retinol molecule in deeper layers of your skin. It’s capable of altering the behaviour of aged cells, improving collagen production to modify skin texture, boosting radiance, and treating the signs of ageing 2X faster compared to other Retinol serums.

PALMITOYL GLYCINE

It reduces wrinkles to reveal smooth, firm, and radiant skin by improving skin oxygenation and building skin proteins.

ALLANTOIN

It is a moisturizing agent that soothes the skin, decreases itching along with helping shed dead skin cells.

FAQs

1. Can I use retinol every day?

Twice a week at night is the sweet spot for using Retinol! Don’t forget to follow it up with sunscreen the next day.

2. When should you avoid Retinol?

Stay away from Retinol products if you have sunburnt, damaged, easily irritable/inflamed, or sensitive skin. Additionally, pregnant, breastfeeding, and lactating women should avoid it at all costs.

3. What are the dos and don’ts while using Retinol?

DO's
- Start slowly: Using Retinol initially can cause your skin to get irritated. It is recommended to use it twice a week.
- Moisturize: Since using Retinol can cause dry and flaky skin, using a hydrating moisturizer can help the skin stay supple.
- Use it only at night: Retinol can increase your skin's sensitivity to UV radiation, which can result in sun damage, inflammation, and redness of the skin. To prevent photosensitivity, it would be better to use your Retinol serum solely at night.

DONT's
- Don't pair it with other active ingredients - Combining AHA and BHA can be extremely drying and irritate the skin because they both exfoliate the skin, like Retinol. Lastly, don’t use it with Vitamin C as it’s more effective when used separately from Retinol.
- Don't skip sunscreen - Since Retinol is a photosensitive ingredient, your best option for protecting against harmful UV rays is to apply sunscreen with a high SPF because Retinol makes your skin susceptible to sun damage.
- Don't use it during pregnancy - Retinol usage is strongly discouraged during pregnancy as it may cause problems for the fetus.

4. Should you leave Retinol overnight?

Yes, you can leave Retinol overnight. Cell turnover is at its highest in the evening, which is the best time for rest and repair. This helps in intensifying its effectiveness.
