Ans: In our 15% Vitamin C Serum, we use pure L-Ascorbic Acid, the most potent and direct form of Vitamin C. For the Vit C-Gluta Advanced Brightening Serum, we use Ethyl Ascorbic Acid (3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid) for a specific formulation reason: compatibility with Glutathione.Pure L-Ascorbic Acid requires a very low pH (2.5–3.5) to remain stable and effective. Glutathione, however, is most effective at a near-neutral pH. Combining both in the same formula at L-Ascorbic Acid's required pH would compromise the Glutathione's efficacy.Ethyl Ascorbic Acid (EAA) is a stable Vitamin C derivative that remains effective across a wider pH range, which allows both actives to coexist in one formula without either being weakened. EAA is also soluble in both water and oil, enabling it to penetrate the skin more effectively. Once absorbed, EAA is converted into pure Vitamin C inside the skin, delivering the same core benefits, brightening, collagen support, and dark spot reduction, while remaining gentle enough for daily use alongside Glutathione.

Ans: Niacinamide can be safely layered with this serum. Use the Foxtale Vitamin C-Glutathione Serum in the morning (followed by SPF), and apply retinol at night. However, if the serum turns a deep orange or brown, the Vitamin C component has begun to oxidise and potency may be reduced.Always close the cap tightly after use.
